Goodbye Hong Kong =)  It was an awesome trip.  I sooo needed sleep when I got back =p

Hong Kong Memories - Disneyland -

We decided to head off to Disneyland on the 7th day of our trip.  Participants of this trip to Disneyland: Ee Loo, Zhen Han, Ronnie, Boey, Pretib and I.  It had been raining every single day in Hong Kong since we landed, yet on this day, the skies were clear and the sun was shining brightly. (ok, it was actually unbearably scorching hot, but everything seemed so... magical, that for once, this candle princess had an amazing time and did not melt.)

The train to disneyland:  They had glass panes the shape of Mickey, even the handle railings were of this shape.  I guess you won't have a hard time spotting the hidden Mickey, simply because they aren't hidden.

Welcome!!

The waiting was well worth itThe 3D movie was spectacular!

Hong Kong Day 6

The 6th day in Hong Kong was probably the day I spoke to many people whom I didn't speak to before.  I don't have many photos from this day because most of the day was spent in the hotel attending seminars, which were in fact very interesting.  One of the more impactful parts of the seminars was one in which we did the exercise, to choose 5 most important values to us personally, and one by one give them up.  In the end, we were left with only one, and I was left with integrity.

After the seminars, we headed to the HSBC headquarters for a tour.  This was the 2nd time I was touring HSBC, because we went for this tour on the day of the competition as we arrived early.
With Melda and Daniel (both from Hong Kong)
With the Bruneians
After the tour, I met up with Patricia and Maggie, the two HK representatives I met at the ESU Public Speaking Competition in London.

We then joined Eric's HK friends, and had another awesome dinner.  They were so nice to bring us around for more of hong kong's authentic street food =)  yummy!

We walked around Times Square I bought two hats =)

And the day ended at the Irish Pub again, to watch football (note the colour of Zhen Han's face haha)

Hong Kong Memories - Day 5

Lol.  Yeah I know I went to Hong Kong way back in June, but then I realised I never went past day 4 in my blog.  So here goes: Day 5 in Hong Kong ~ company visits ~  Let the pictures do the talking.  =)

Together with other participants outside Cathay Pacific HQ

Random shot

Lesson learnt.  NEVER wear the same colour as the uniform of the company you're visiting, or you'll never hear the last of it ;-p

Especially when you act the part.

Break it up!!!! No fighting on board!

If a bird gets into the turbines, this chops it up and solves the problem.

Fancy being in the cockpit?
