Where can we go if we are low on cash but bored? Anywhere that states "free entry".

Ming Xiu, Michelle, Xian Hui and I went the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquarie's chair, had the famous Pancake on the Rocks, and then went to Bondi Junction (for no apparent reason). It was a nice and relaxing day, and we took quite a few photos. The weather was good. Bright and sunny (maybe a little TOO sunny), wasn't too cold, perfect for strolling. No flowers though, because it's winter. Doesn't look like winter does it, in the pictures? That's Sydney to you. =)

First stop : Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney. Located around 10 mins walk from the Circular Quay terminal.

All Malaysians!

Sydney Tropical Center - the glass pyramid

Us in front of it.

We wanted to pose sitting on the tree, then realised the branch was too high when we got nearer. So we just made do with this.

Fruits? Flowers? Nuts? Seeds?
Take a closer look...

BATS!!! Hanging upside down, in the sun. 0_0
I thought they lived in dark caves. haha

The sign says, "Don't be alarmed if you see a fluffy duck being eaten by an eel. It is part of nature." (or something along those lines)

The city as the backdrop

We don't look like we are in the city do we? Parks right in the middle of the city, it's a really nice way to get away without having to go too far.

Glass reflection

The spot Queen Elizabeth first stepped foot on when she arrived in Australia. The engravings were really hard to make out.

Mrs Macquarie's chair!! The historic chair was carved out of a rock ledge for Governor Lachlan Macquarie's wife, Elizabeth, as she was known to visit the area and sit enjoying the views of the harbour.

Windy =D Near Mrs Macquarie's Chair.

Pancake on the Rocks!!!! The pancakes were more like cakes, but it was awesome!! I was so full.
After that we took a bus to Bondi Junction, but had nothing to do there so left after a short while. Bus trip took HALF AN HOUR!!!
All in all, it was a lovely day out. =D
