My patience has its limits

I'm not one to complain about crazy sleeping habits, but this is getting on my nerves.

How would you like being woken up by somebody's incessant alarm ringing at the oddest hours of the night. (4am? 5am? 6am? even 2 am sometimes?) AND... the person who sets the alarm never wakes up, and it rings and rings and rings till you wake up and get angry and then it stops, only to ring and ring and ring again without the person turning it off (or only turning it off after a long long time).

Seriously, I cannot stand that many more days on this. I am deprived of sleep enough as it is, without all of this.

I wish I had my own room.

Even though my roommate is a nice girl and everything in all other ways....

I hate sharing rooms.

Winter Holidays

I had an awesome winter. I know the previous posts were all emo (like the pic, nice yes?) but those are only short moments at night, so please don't worry about me. =) I really appreciate all the concern though.

I'm too lazy to put this is chronological order, but want to share these. =)

hmm mmm mmm

Oh well. Apparently my mandarin is not good enough. Can't do it.

Sigh. I don't have the job. =(

That's ok. =) No worries.

Nothing I cannot handle, right?

Training

Yesterday and today I have been training as a receptionist at the sleep and heart clinic in Ashfield. It takes me an hour to commute here, so it's very far. I'm here right now, on lunch break. I'm also damn nervous because my role requires me to speak mandarin to patients who cannot speak english. I have never had to speak mandarin for an official matter, so even though I am now able to carry a conversation in mandarin, it still scares me to pick up the phone and speak on behalf of a company... in chinese!!!!

They won't hire me unless I can do this. Can I? Tarc friends, this is what talking to you in mandarin has prepared me for LOL.

I should be able to.... sigh. Tell me that I can. Give me the confidence that I need. I confirmed two patients just now in mandarin. I thought I wouldn't be able to do that, but they were really grandmotherly haha and it went well. :) I CAN DO THIS!!!!

I will be left on my own tomorrow. Hope that all goes well.

Uni starts next week. I have only two classes on though. It would probably be good to be back. I am so broke I cannot afford to go out anymore.

I hope the study skills thing goes well and I will be hired to take some classes. It would really help me, and I know i'll enjoy it. OET is hiring me for the next one day test event, so everything is going well I hope.

I had a good winter break, I actually had a lot of fun, ate a lot of good food and went out a lot. =) Would post some pictures up when I have them. My camera has very bad mood swings (will only switch on when it feels like being nice to me).

I am also learning to let go. Shouldn't matter that you're now thinking of someone else. Shouldn't matter. Shouldn't. Doesn't.

I'll just keep myself busy. All is well.

All those words

All those words... are short lived. They don't mean anything anymore. I think I would need to disappear for awhile.

It's strange how one tries to keep from getting hurt, and ends up doing the most ridiculous stuff and feeling exactly the way one was trying to keep oneself from feeling.

Oh I fell. Pretty hard. Just don't want to admit it.

Strange. It's stupid waiting for... nothing. Wishing for... nothing. Knowing that... nothing. NOTHING. NOTHING. nothing.

I just wanna dance the night away. Don't wanna care. Don't wanna think. Don't wanna feel. Just want the numbness to sink in.

All the words. They don't mean anything. Not anymore.

Bleeding

Going out. Laughing. Making new friends. Seeing old friends. Having a good time.

But when I come back, only a few lines, a few words, and it feels sucky.

Never knew words can cut so deep.

Bleeding. bleeding. bleeding.

I wish...

That I could make you smile like I once did.

"xi huan shi qian qian de ai. ai shi shen shen de xi huan"

lu guo wo mei na me xi huan ni, wei shen me na me nan fang xia?
Zhen de dui bu qi ni. Ni mei ke neng hui zhi dao wo xin li xiang de hua.
Wo hao xi huan ni, mei na me shen dan shi mei na me qian. Xian zai wo men dou mei you ji hui.

Wo hen xiang nian ni. Ni dou wang ji le wo. Wei shen me wo hai zai zhe li xiang ni?

Lu guo wo neng gou zuan hui shi jian, wo hui hao hao zhen xi ni. Now it's just too late.

Sorry for the pin yin. I don't know how to type in chinese.

pointless

A stroll in the park

Needed some sunshine, was sick of staying cooped up indoors. I was even starting to look sick and haggard. So I went out for around an hour, just leisurely strolling about in Centennial Park, which is just behind where I live. I watched as the skies changed hues, the sun setting low at the horizon and the moon getting brighter as the sky got darker (the moon was in the sky since the daytime), the ducks and swans swimming, the birds flying and people jogging, strolling, picnicking, cycling, and I felt so peaceful.
Didn't really take photos, was not there to take photos, but to just get out of the house. I took this though because the animals were just standing in such a way, like a king and his 3 right hand men. Or ducks. All hail the king and his three ducks!

Day out

Where can we go if we are low on cash but bored? Anywhere that states "free entry".

Ming Xiu, Michelle, Xian Hui and I went the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquarie's chair, had the famous Pancake on the Rocks, and then went to Bondi Junction (for no apparent reason). It was a nice and relaxing day, and we took quite a few photos. The weather was good. Bright and sunny (maybe a little TOO sunny), wasn't too cold, perfect for strolling. No flowers though, because it's winter. Doesn't look like winter does it, in the pictures? That's Sydney to you. =)

First stop : Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney. Located around 10 mins walk from the Circular Quay terminal. All Malaysians!

Sydney Tropical Center - the glass pyramidUs in front of it.

We wanted to pose sitting on the tree, then realised the branch was too high when we got nearer. So we just made do with this.

Fruits? Flowers? Nuts? Seeds?

Take a closer look...BATS!!! Hanging upside down, in the sun. 0_0
I thought they lived in dark caves. haha

The sign says, "Don't be alarmed if you see a fluffy duck being eaten by an eel. It is part of nature." (or something along those lines)

Self taken photo - asian style. Xian Hui, Ming Xiu, Michelle, Meiyi

The city as the backdrop

We don't look like we are in the city do we? Parks right in the middle of the city, it's a really nice way to get away without having to go too far.

Glass reflection

The spot Queen Elizabeth first stepped foot on when she arrived in Australia. The engravings were really hard to make out.

Mrs Macquarie's chair!! The historic chair was carved out of a rock ledge for Governor Lachlan Macquarie's wife, Elizabeth, as she was known to visit the area and sit enjoying the views of the harbour.

Windy =D Near Mrs Macquarie's Chair.

Pancake on the Rocks!!!! The pancakes were more like cakes, but it was awesome!! I was so full.

After that we took a bus to Bondi Junction, but had nothing to do there so left after a short while. Bus trip took HALF AN HOUR!!!

All in all, it was a lovely day out. =D
